Anish Ramlall Earns CSC Academic All-District For Huskies

Ramlall cited for academic and athletic achievements
St. Cloud, MN – St. Cloud State Men's Basketball junior Anish Ramlall has been named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Ramlall earned the honor for the second consecutive season after success in the classroom and on the court.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 14, 2025 (men) and April 15, 2025 (women). To qualify for Academic All-District® Honors, a student athlete must carry a 3.50 or better grade point average and have competed in at least 90% of the team's total games played or have started at least 66% of the team's total games played.
Ramlall held a 3.69 GPA as a management major. He appeared in 32 of 33 games while making 24 starts. The Rosemount, MN. native totaled 9.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.2 steals while shooting 43.3% from the field, 38.1% from three, and 84.7% from the free throw line. All but the assists were career-highs for Ramlall.
