Nine Huskies Earn NWCA Scholar All-American Honors

Program produces 8+ Scholarship All-Americans for 10th consecutive season
Manheim, Pa.-Â Nine St. Cloud State Wrestlers have been named 2025-26 Scholar All-Americans as announced by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Friday morning. This was the 10th consecutive season where SCSU has produced 8+ Scholar All-Americans.

To earn the honors, the student-athlete must meet one of the following criteria:

Redshirt-sophomore Dominic Ducato earned the honor for the third consecutive season as a sports and recreational management major. Ducato went 17-3 wrestling at 133 and was a fourth place All-American at the NCAA Championships. He also recorded a title at Super Region V and was named First Team All-NSIC.

Redshirt-sophomore Nathan Fury also registered his third consecutive season as a Scholar All-American as a construction management major. He went 9-2 wrestling at 197 and took third at the Dragon Open.

For the second time in his career, redshirt sophomore Cole Glazier was a recipient as a sports and recreational management major. Glazier went 23-2 wrestling at 184 and was an All-American for the second time in his career. He placed seventh at the NCAA Tournament and took the title at Super Region V while earning First Team All-NSIC.

Graduate student Zach Glazier earned Scholar All-American Honors for the first time in his career. He is a part of the Sports and Rec Administration program and wrestled at 285. He produced an 11-1 record and was an All-American for the first time in his career. Glazier placed third at the NCAA Tournament while becoming a Super Region V Champion. He was also named First Team All-NSIC.

Redshirt freshman Austin Grzywinski also was a first-time recipient as a computer engineering major. Grzywinski notched a 10-5 record at 125 and took third at the Dragon Open and fifth at the Yellowjacket Open.

For the first-time in his career, Dominic Mann earned Scholar All-American Honors as a construction management major. He wrestled at 184 and tallied an 11-4 record. Mann placed first at the Yellowjacket Open, third at the Dragon Open, and fourth at the Luther College Open.

Graduate student Tyson Meyer earned the recognition for the first time in his career. Meyer is a part of the MBA program and wrestled at 197. He went 17-7 and was an NCAA qualifier for the first time in his career. Meyer placed second at Super Region V and earned Second Team All-NSIC.

The final Husky to receive the honor was redshirt junior Gabriel Smith. Smith is a business accounting major at wrestled at 165. He tallied a 16-1 record and took first at the Yellowjacket Open and Worthington Open.

Under Head Coach Steve Costanzo, 176 Huskies have been named NWCA Scholar All-Americans.

- National Qualifier to the 2025 NCAA DII National Championships and 3.25 GPA
- Competed in 4 or more events and 3.5 GPA
