St. Cloud State Men’s Golf Sits in 10th after First Day of The Jewel Invitational

Huskies, Cam Kaye leads the way with a 76
LAKE CITY, Minn. – St. Cloud State Golf completed round one of The Jewel Invitational hosted by Concordia-St. Paul. The Huskies Men's team shot a 313 (+25) while the Women's team competed with three individuals.
Today was the first round of a 36-hole two-day event at The Jewel Golf Club in Lake City, MN.
The Husky men's golf team was led by Cameron Kaye, who birdied three of his last six to shoot +3 (75) to sit in a tie for 25th. Owen Hoehn shot +5 (77) to finish second for the Huskies, in a tie for 38th overall, Will Spence finished third on the team at +6 (78), while Carter Whitworth shot +11 (83), and Peyton Carr shot +13 (85)
The Husky women's team was led by Emma Forsberg, who shot +27 (99). Alyssa Scherping (+59) and Emma Ryan (+81) also competed for the Husky women's team, as they look to find their groove early in the season.
