2012-13: Second Team All-NSIC...six top-10 finishes...medalist at the Husky Classic held Sept. 23-24 at the St. Cloud Country Club after shooting even par 69-75=144...a 68 in the second round of the SJU Winter Invitational was his low round of the season...averaged 75.1 strokes over 20 rounds.
2011-12: Competed in eight events during his sophomore season for the Huskies…played in 16 total rounds…averaged a 76.3 shots per round…was on fire at the 2012 St. John’s Spring Invitational with a -7 two round score of 135 to take first place out of 89 golfers (4/29/12)…shot lowest 18-hole score at the same tournament with a 66 in the first of two rounds…NSIC Player of the Week (4/30/12).
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Anoka High School…coached by Doug Orr…four-time golf letterwinner…three-time all-conference…two-time state participant…all-state…team captain.
PERSONAL: Son of David and Lanelle Holmes of Ramsey…names his parents as the people with the greatest influence on his career…describes making it to state as a team two years in a row and taking first individually in sections as a sophomore as his greats sports thrills…accounting major at SCSU.
