2021-22: In his first season with the Huskies, Steinthorsson appeared in seven games for St. Cloud State.

High School: Steinthorsson played for Selfoss during his prep career and competed in the second division Iceland 1 Deild Karla. In 23 games for Selfoss, he played 422 minutes and scored 124 total points, averaging 5.4 per game.

Personal: Steinthorsson lists the Los Angeles Lakers as his favorite pro basketball team and enjoys watching movies and listening to Kanye West, Jay Z and Kendrick Lamar. His most memorable sports moment was hitting the game-winner to win the Icelandic Championship when he was 16.
