2017-18: All-NSIC team...he placed second at the NSIC championships with a three round total of 219 (76-70-73). Ryynanen tied for first on the tournament leaderboard before falling to eventual NSIC medalist Noah Rasinski of Concordia-St. Paul in a playoff...on the season, Ryynanen led the Huskies with a scoring average of 74.5 per round.

2016-17: Earned All-NSIC Academic status in 2016-17...averaged 76.9 per round as a sophomore...plsced 8th at the Battle of the Falls tourney...placed 14th at 2017 NSIC tournament.

2015-16: Averaged 74.8 per round in 2015-16...medalist at 2015 Battle at the Falls with score of 221 (79-68-74)...placed second at NSIC Spring Preview with score of 145 (75-70)...placed fourth at 2015-16 NSIC championships with tally of 294 (73-71-78-72)...All-NSIC award winner.

Before SCSU: A 2015 graduate of Dassel-Cokato H.S., where he played for coach Brian Johnson...a 5X letterwinner in golf...gained four All-Conference awards in golf at Dassel-Cokato...a 3X team captain...a conference champion in high school...state tournament participant...All-State award recipient...3X letterwinner in hockey.

Personal: The son of Jim and Janel Ryynanen...on A-Honor Roll in high school...enjoys fishing, camping and hockey...he is a twin...mechanical engineering major at SCSU.
