2011-12: Johnson scored two goals and nine assists during his junior year at SCSU...opened season with two assists in action against UAA on Oct. 8, 2011...32 blocked shots...scored goals against Bemidji State on Dec. 2, 2011 and Nebraska Omaha on Mar. 9, 2012...played in 33 games during his junior year.
2010-11: Johnson enjoyed a solid sophomore campaign with 3 goals and 10 assists to his credit from the blueline...also had two power play markers in 2010-11...posted goal in WCHA playoffs at Minnesota Duluth on March 12...also scored goals against Quinnipiac and UNO at the NHC...
2009-10: Johnson played in 38 games during his freshman season at SCSU...wore #24 during the 2009-10 campaign...scored first collegiate goal with a PP tally at Minnesota on Jan. 23...added second goal of season at Colorado College on Jan. 29...notched a pair of assists in win over UND on Feb. 12...was +3 on the plus/minus in 2009-10...scored 12 points (2g/10a) during rookie season at SCSU.
Prior to SCSU: A 2008 graduate of White Bear Lake High School, where he played under coach Tim Sager...a two-year hockey letter winner...earned All-Conference honors..in 2008-09, while playing for the Green Bay Gamblers in the USHL, Johnson posted 32 points (8g/24a) in 59 games.
Personal: Born Oct. 26, 1989..general/elective major at SCSU...enjoys fishing, golfing and video games.
