2014: Played in all 28 matches this season, totaling 95 sets…had 96 assists on the season and 8 service aces…recorded a team-high 472 digs on the season, averaging 4.97 per set…finished the season jumping from tenth to second in the Huskies Record Book with 1,372 digs…recorded another St. Cloud State Season Record in with 472 on the season ranking her fourth…ranked second in the NSIC in digs per set.
2013: Starter in all 28 matches at the libero position...led the team with 424 digs, averaging 4.16 per set...ranked seventh on the NSIC statistical chart for digs per set...had a team high .988 serve percentage...tallied 77 assists and 14 service aces...finished the season averainge 4.16 digs per set and .75 assists per set.
2012: Started and played in all 28 matches in her freshman season…tallied 42 assists and 19 service aces on the season…returned 415 of 434 serves (.956%)…totaled a team-high 476 digs, averaging 4.62 per set…holds the first year single season record for digs that was previously set at 426…recorded a team-high .986 serving percentage, completing 358 of 363 serves.
HIGH SCHOOL: Brianne is a three-year volleyball letter winner for the Tigers and a team captain. A three-year starter, she earned All-Conference and Academic All-State honors. Twice during her prep career the Tigers won Wright County Conference titles. In addition Hutchinson finished second and fourth at the state tournament. She also played for the Northern Lights Junior Olympic team and earned All-American and All-Tournament team honors. Her team placed second at the USJO Nationals and won a AAU 17’s national championship. She was named to Breakdowns ‘Top Juniors and Seniors list and AAU’s ‘Best Athletes in America’ for 2011. Her high school volleyball coach is Dennis Piechowski. Stamer ranks first in her class academically, is an A Honor Roll student and an Academic Award of Excellence winner.
PERSONAL: Brianne is the daughter of Beatrice and Dale Stamer of Hutchinson. She is a biomedical science major at SCSU.
