Before SCSU: A 2017 graduate of Waverly H.S., where she played for coaches Terri Neujahr and D.C. Mather...4X letterwinner in volleyball...Honorable Mention Nebraska Prep VB 2014,2015 and 2016...All State Honorable Mention VB 2015 and 2016...1st Team All Conference 2015 and 2016...team captain 2015/2016...career stats include 993 digs, 292 sets played, 3.4 average digs per set, 1398 serve receptions, 80 aces, and 606 kills...also lettered in soccer and track and field during prep career...played club volleyball for Nebraska One and Nebraska Elite.

Personal: The daughter of Doyle and Shannon Brunssen...nursing major at SCSU...enjoys work, hanging out with friends, shopping and traveling...corn detasseling crew for five years.
