Before SCSU: A transfer from Chadron State...finished his sophomore season with a 31-9 record and placed 6th at the NCAA Super Region IV tournament and had seven pins at Chadron....had a record of 136-21 at Beatrice High School … was a conference champion all four years … holds school records in career and season takedowns, career and season two and three point nearfalls, and season pins … was a two-time state champion … Also played football and soccer.
Personal: Son of Tami and Dan Helmick...a Finance major...will serve as a team captain at SCSU in 2018-19.
