Two-time All-American Jake Barzowski begins his first season as a member of the St. Cloud State coaching staff in 2022-23.
Barzowski carved out a stellar career for the Huskies from 2016 to 2022, finishing with exactly 100 collegiate wins while wrestling at 149 and 157. The Park Ridge, Illinois native earned All-American honors with a third-place finish at 157 in 2019 and landed the No. 2 seed at 157 ahead of the 2020 NCAA Championships. He was twice a Super Region V finalist – winning the title in 2020 – and garnered NWCA All-Academic honors in 2019.
A two-year captain for St. Cloud State, Barzowski held a strong reputation as a leader in the wrestling room. He was a member of three NCAA Championship teams and helped SCSU earn the NSIC Championship in each of his six seasons.
Barzowski attended Notre Dame College Prep and was a two-time state qualifier under head coach Augie Genovise.
