2011-12: Ended his junior season with a 16-10 overall record while competing at 174 and 184 pounds…went 4-4 in dual action…posted five pins…had three top five finishes at open tournaments.
2010-11: Salmen posted a 13-4 overall record with 2 falls in 2010-11...captured first place at Auggie Open and fourth place at Husky Open in 2010...scored a 2nd place finish at the North Country Open in 2011.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Dassel-Cokato High School, where he wrestled for head coach Bryan Clemen...a six-time letter winner and five-time state entrant...placed third in state for class AAA...named to All-Conference honorable mention...also a three-time letter winner in football and baseball.
PERSONAL: The son of Dale and Beverley Salmen...he enjoys hunting and snowboarding in his spare time...he is a physical education major at SCSU.
