2020-21: Posted a 3-0 record in his third season with St. Cloud State.
2019-20: 11-3 record with three falls...placed third at the Cobber Open and second at the North Country Open.
2018-19: 17-7 overall record...seven falls...4-1 dual record...placed first at the Warrior Open...placed third at Cobber Open and fourth at Dakota Wesleyan Open.
2017-18: Redshirt at SCSU...12-8 record...three falls...third place at the Finn Grinaker and Husky Opens.
The Vanik File: A 2017 grad of Kaneland H.S. and a resident of Sugar Grove, Ill. Vanik finished his season with a third place finish at the 2017 IHSAA 2A State Championships. A projected 184-pounder for the Huskies, Vanik placed seventh at the 2016 USAW Pre-Season Nationals to earn All-American honors. He had a four-year career mark of 142-41. He is the son of Tom & Stephanie Vanik...operations management major and psychology minor at SCSU...enjoys guitar, raising his dog and video games.
