2016-17: Cross Country – named to the NSIC’s Fall All-Academic Team...competed in all seven races...finished 20th at UWRF Falcon Invite (24:55.80), 43rd at the St. Olaf Invite (24:21), 158th at the Roy Griak Invitational (26:11.9), 18th at the Bob Waxlax (24:23.7), 63rd at the NSIC Championship (23:07.87) and 85th at the NCAA Central Regional (22:53.07)

2015-16: A member of the NSIC's Fall All-Academic Team...finished 17th at the UWRF Invitational (23:46.72), 35th at the St. Olaf Invitational (24:03.2), 69th at the Roy Griak Invitational (24:53.1), 21st at the Bob Waxlax Invitational (23:24.4), 36th at the NSIC Championships (24:45.8), 73rd at the NCAA Central Regional in Joplin, Missouri (23:13.50)...A member of the NSIC’s Winter and Spring All-Academic Team for indoor and outdoor track...finished second in the 1000m during indoor season at SDSU

2014-15: Finished 47th at the St. Olaf Invitational (24:32.0), 85th at the Roy Griak Invitational (24:53.1), 70th at the Neubauer/Drews Invitational (23.50), 20th at the Bob Waxlax Invitational (24:15) and 63rd NSIC Championships (24:19.39)...a member of the SCSU track & field team

2013-14: Placed 61st at the St. John's Invitational (28.00), 78th at the St. Olaf Invitational (24:52.9), 172nd at the Roy Griak Invite (26:37.0), sixth at the SCSU Showdown (24:57.2) and 92nd at the NSIC Championships (25:09.75)...member of the SCSU track & field team

Before SCSU: A 2013 graduate of Milnor High School...a four-time letterwinner in basketball and volleyball and a six-time letterwinner in track...Named All-District in basketball...Her team was a two-time District Champion...All-District athlete in volleyball...Holds four school records in track...A six-time state qualifier...Still holds the conference record in the indoor 800m run...Set school record in the 800m run in 2011, 4x400m relay and the mile run in 2010.

Personal: The daughter of John and Denise Sakry...a four-year honor roll student in high school...Qualified for International DECA two years and was Valedictorian of her class...enjoys hunting, fishing, crafts and spending time with family and friends...lists her father as having had the greatest influence on her life...a biomedical sciences major and chemistry minor.
