Volleyball Travels to Upper Iowa and Winona State

St. Cloud, Minn. – The St. Cloud State University women's volleyball team will hit the road for Fayette, Iowa to take on Upper Iowa University at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8. On Saturday, the Huskies will travel to take on Winona State in a 5 p.m. Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) match-up.

Following play this weekend, the Huskies will return to Halenbeck Hall for their final weekend of NSIC regular season play on Nov. 15 and 16 as they host Concordia, St. Paul and Minnesota State University – Mankato.
SCSU Game Notes
- St. Cloud State enters this weekend's match-ups with a 12-12 overall record and a 6-10 mark in the NSIC.
- Last weekend the Huskies fell to #8 Southwest Minnesota State in three sets and then fell to the University of Sioux Falls in a five-set battle. SCSU suffers from a seven-match losing streak.
- Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson) ranks sixth on the NSIC charts for digs as she averages 4.34/set and has collected 383 total this season.
- Allison Butler (Burnsville) ranks seventh on the NSIC charts for service aces with 29 on the season, averaging .33/set.
- Ellie Dietzen (Black Creek, Wis.) leads the Huskies with 245 kills this season. She has collected 888 so far during her career.
- The Huskies took on Upper Iowa earlier this season (Oct. 5) and defeated them 3-0.
- SCSU defeated Winona State, 3-1 on Oct. 4.
Winona State Game Notes
- The Warriors enter the weekend with a 10-15 overall record and a 7-9 mark in the NSIC.
- Winona State is coming off two weekend victories over the University of Mary (3-0) and Minot State (3-1).
- Bekah Saugen leads Winona State with 271 kills on the season, averaging 2.95/set.
- Kathleen Omelina has collected 64 blocks on the season, averaging .89 per set. This ranks her 8th in the NSIC in blocks.
Upper Iowa Game Notes
- The Peacocks enter the weekend with a 7-19 overall record and a 3-13 mark in the NSIC.
- Upper Iowa is coming off a weekend split as they lost to Minot State (2-3) and defeated the University of Mary (3-0).
- Jennifer Mundt leads the Peacocks with 299 kills this season, averaging 3.15 per set.
