#3 St. Cloud State Wrestling Grabs 32-7 Win at MSUM

The #3 ranked St. Cloud State University wrestling team improved to 2-0 in the NSIC thanks to a 32-7 victory at Minnesota State, Moorhead on Saturday, Jan. 25. Â The win moves SCSU's overall record to 13-1 on the season.
St. Cloud State trailed 7-4 after the first three bouts but the Huskies then charted seven consecutive match wins to complete the weekend sweep on the road. Â At 149 pounds, Josh Howk started the streak with a pin at 4:28.
At 157-pounds, #4 ranked Clint Poster scored a 4-0 win and #2 Gabe Fogarty posted a 14-0 major win at 165-pounds. Â At 174-pounds, Clayton Jennissen gained a decision win followed by a decision win at 184-pounds by Dylon Braun. Â
Chris Brassell turned in a 4-1 victory at 197-pounds before #4 ranked Austin Goergen capped the match with a pin at 285-pounds.
Next week, the Huskies will return to the road for a match at Minot State on Jan. 31 and a dual at Mary on Feb. 1. Â See below for complete results from the dual match at Minnesota State, Moorhead on Jan. 25.
