St. Cloud State Wrestling Ranked Fourth in Latest DII Poll

The Huskies earned 138 points, while the nation's top ranked team was Notre Dame College of Ohio with 159 points. Â Nebraska Kearney (153 points) abnd Newberry (142 points) completed the top three spots in the poll this week.
St. Cloud State senior Andy Pokorny remained as the nation's second ranked wrestler at 133-pounds in the poll, while sophomore Matt Nelson eanred a number four ranking at 141-pounds. Â At 157-pounds, sophomore Clint Poster ranked fifth in this week's poll, while SCSU soph Gabe Fogarty was ranked seventh at 165-pounds in the rankings.
At 285-pounds, SCSU redshirt freshman Austin Goergen moved up one notch in the rankings this week. Â Goergen was ranked third in the poll at 285-pounds after a fourth place ranking in the previous poll.
The Huskies will continue their 2013-14 season this weekend with a pair of NSIC road matches. Â On Friday, Jan. 31, the Huskies will travel to Minot State University for a 7 p.m. match. Â SCSU will complete the trip on Saturday, Feb. 1 with a 2 p.m. dual at the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D.
