Men's basketball to face Winona State in NSIC Sanford Health quarterfinal

St. Cloud State men's basketball will tip-off against Winona State University in the quarterfinals of the NSIC Sanford Health Tournament, Sunday, March 2, 2:30 p.m. at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The Huskies enter the game with a 20-7 overall record. Winona State brings a 24-6 overall record into the contest. St. Cloud State claimed a share of the NSIC North Division title with a 15-7 record and finished in a three-way tie for third place in the league overall standings. Winona State finished second in the NSIC South with an 18-4 league record and second in the overall NSIC standings.
Earlier this year, these two teams met in Winona and the Warriors came away with an 89-68 win. St. Cloud State is 90-43 all-time against Winona State and 1-9 over the last ten games.Â
The winner of this game advances to the NSIC Sanford Health Tournament semifinals on Monday. The tournament Championship game will be played Tuesday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m.
