
NCAA Division II Winter Championships are underway

St. Cloud State has 20 student-athletes competing
St. Cloud State is sending 20 student-athletes representing wrestling, men's indoor track and men's and women's swimming and diving to the 2014 NCAA Division II National Championships that begin today (March 12).
Swimming & Diving
St. Cloud State has 12 men's and women's swimmers and divers in Geneva, Ohio at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving National Championships. Trials get underway this morning with finals scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. eastern time tonight. The Huskies have six divers and six swimmers competing. Last year, senior diver Luke Weber won the national title on the three-meter board and the men's team place 12th while the women were 16th.

Wrestling
The NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships run Friday and Saturday, March 14-15 in Cleveland, Ohio. The Huskies landed six wrestlers in the Championships. Last season the Huskies finished second in the nation and crowned a national champion in Shamus O'Grady, now a student assistant coach.

Two Huskies, George Kawalawu and Ryan Johnson qualified for the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships, March 14-15 in Winston-Salem, N.C. The competition gets underway at 9 a.m. both Friday and Saturday.
