jack Barnhart ties for medalist honors

Stillwater, Minn. – The St. Cloud State men's golf team opened the new season with a team victory in the MSU Invite hosted by Minnesota State University, Mankato and played at Loggers Trail Golf Course on Sunday and Monday.

The Huskies shot a team score of 298-300 for a 598 and two-stroke win over second place Minnesota State University in the seven team field.

St. Cloud State's Jack Barnhart tied for first on the individual leaderboard after rounds of 72-74 for a 146 on the par 72 track.

Three other Huskies placed in the top ten among the individuals. Jack McClintock placed fifth after shooting a pair of 74's. Matt Bible and Tyler Koivisto tied for sixth place, each shooting rounds of 75-75 for a 150.
