The St. Cloud State University men's golf team placed 10th at the 2017 Washburn Invitational, which was held on Oct. 16-17 in Topeka, Kan. The Huskies tallied a three-round score of 915 (296-307-312) in tournament play, while Lindenwood was the team champ wth a score of 872. The complete team standings are listed at the link below.
Individually, SCSU was led by Riley Duncanson, who placed 10th overall in the 17-team tournament. He had a three-round total of 219 (72-72-75), while teammate David Scharenbroich was tied for 35th overall at 228 (73-75-80). Troy Ryynanen was tied for 42nd at 229 (73-79-77) and Regan Steen was tied for 77th at 239 (78-81-80). The SCSU field was completed by Greg Koehn tied for 86th at 242 (78-83-81).
The tournament was held at the Topeka Country Club and it marks the end of the fall portion of the season for the Huskies.
