The St. Cloud State University volleyball team completed the 2017 regular season with a 3-0 loss at Augustana University on Saturday, Nov. 11 in Sioux Falls,S.D.

The Huskies lost the match by scores of 25-21, 25-18 and 24-10. SCSU ended the NSIC season with an 8-12 record and a 16-14 overall record. Augustana moved to 22-8, 13-7 NSIC with the win.

The Huskies were led in the match by Becca Gruber with eight kills, Nicole Miller with seven kills and Micah Nier with seven kills. Clara Krenz added 16 digs and three assists, while Miller and Taylor Olstad also had 10 digs apiece. Maddy Torve paced SCSU with 16 assists, while Kayla Crane had nine assists for SCSU. Marah Mulso also had five blocks to lead SCSU in the match.

The Huskies' 16 wins in 2017 are the most in a season for SCSU since winning 19 matches in 2004. The Huskies finished the 2004 season with a 19-12 record and this year's 16-14 record marks the first time since 2004 that the Huskies have finished with a winning record.
