Riley Duncanson led the St. Cloud State University men's golf team with a 10th place finish at the GLIAC North Invitational in South Haven, Mich. on Sept. 16-17. Duncanson finished the weekend with a score of 145 (71-74) on the course at the HawksHead Links.

As a team, the Huskies placed ninth overall with a score of 603 (304-299). Wayne State (Mich.) won top team honors with a score of 569 (285-284), while host Grand Valley State was second at 581 (285-296). Saginaw Valley State (584), Northern Michigan (586), Lewis (587) and Lake Superior State (595) completed the top leaderboard ahead of the Huskies. Ferris State (6-6), Ashland (609), Northwood (610) and Davenport (624) also competed at the tournament.

Regan Steen placed 17th for SCSU with a score of 147 (75-72) and Troy Ryynanen was 46th at 155 (78-77). Austin Janski (48th/80-76=156) and David Scharenbroich (65th/83-86=169) completed the scoring for the Huskies this weekend.

The SCSU men's golf team will continue its 2017-18 season on Sept. 25-26 with a trip to the Winona State Invitational.
