Women's Basketball to Close Out January on the Road

SCSU's Weekend Match-Ups:

The St. Cloud State University women's basketball team (12-5, 9-4 NSIC) is hitting the road this weekend to take on the Wayne State College Wildcats (16-6, 10-4 NSIC) on Friday, Jan. 26 at 6 PM and the Augustana University Vikings (17-1, 13-1 NSIC) on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 4 PM.

Scouting Wayne State:

The Wildcats swept conference opponents, Winona State (74-37) and Upper Iowa (89-55) last weekend.
Wayne State is currently ranked second in the NSIC South conference standings.
Paige Ballinger and Maggie Schulte are each averaging over 11 points per game.
Schulte is is leading the team in rebounds (137) and is shooting 46 percent from three-point range this season.
WSC is outscoring opponents by 14.5 points per game, on average.
Wayne State is 120-13 in home games over the last nine seasons.
The Wildcats rank third in the NSIC in free-throw percentage (80.1%).
