Men’s Basketball Takes on Southwest Minnesota on Monday in Semifinals of NSIC/Sanford Health Men’s Basketball Tournament

Sioux Falls, S.D. – The St. Cloud State men's basketball team (23-7) continues NSIC/Sanford Health Men's Basketball Tournament play by taking on Southwest Minnesota State (23-7) in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Monday, Feb. 26, at 2:30 p.m. at the Sanford Pentagon in the semifinals of the tournament.

- The Mustangs, who are the top seed in the South Division, defeated Augustana by a 79-64 score in the quarterfinals to also improve to 23-7 on the season.

- SCSU earned the number two seed in the North Division after going 17-5 overall in NSIC play this season.
- The Huskies defeated Sioux Falls by a 67-56 score in the quarterfinals of the NSIC/Sanford Health Tournament on Feb. 24.
- The win was the first for SCSU in the quarterfinals (second round) since defeating the University of Mary by a 65-59 score during the 2010-11 season in what was the semifinals.
- The win improved SCSU to 14-7 all-time in NSIC Tournament play and 47-42 all-time in post-season play.
- The win was the first for SCSU at the Sanford Pentagon since the basketball tournament was moved to the venue.
