St. Cloud State University's David Sufficool ended his collegiate career with a fifth place finish in 3M diving at the 2018 NCAA Division II swimming and diving championships in Greensboro, N.C. David Sufficool
Sufficool gained his second All-America award of the championships by posting a score of 499.50 on March 17. Teammate Scott Stellick was 13th in the 3M event with a score of 444.80. Stellick is under consideration for All-America status with his 13th place performance. Earlier in the meet, Sufficool also gained All-America status in the 1M diving event.
In the women's championships, SCSU's Andrea Bryson placed 15th in the 100 freestyle with a time of 50.98. Her finish is also under consideration for All-America status. The Huskies' 400 meter relay squad of Bryson, Alexis Burroughs, Chelsea Gehrke and Jennifer Thompson also placed 21st in the event with a time of 3:26.68.
In the final team standings at the 2018 NCAA championships, the SCSU men's team placed 23rd with a score of 36 points. The SCSU women's team placed 29th with a score of 32 points.
