Volleyball moves to #11 in AVCA poll

ST. CLOUD, MINN. – For the seventh consecutive week, the St. Cloud State University volleyball team is a top-25 one, according to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll. Thanks to two wins over nationally ranked opponents last weekend, the Huskies moved up to #11 in the latest version of the AVCA Division II Top-25 Poll released Monday afternoon.
St. Cloud State is one of eight teams from the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) ranked this week and one of nine from the conference to receive votes. The highest ranking team is none other than the University of Minnesota-Duluth, whom the Huskies will host at home this Thursday at 6 p.m. After another 2-0 weekend, the Bulldogs moved up two spots as well from the #5 slot to #3, making this one of the top matches on St. Cloud State's schedule this season.
