SCSU men's hockey season tickets go on sale May 1

St. Cloud State University men's hockey fans will have the opportunity to purchase season tickets for the upcoming 2019-20 season beginning on Wednesday, May 1.
A wide range of complete season ticket packages and half season ticket packages will be available for SCSU fans in 2019-20. Fans can purchase season tickets online by visiting www.scsutickets.com or by calling the SCSU Athletics Ticket Office at 1-877-SCSUTIX or 320-308-2137.
For fans who do not want to miss of the action in 2019-20 at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center, full season ticket packages are available in five pricing categories. Premium Chairback season tickets are $425, while Chairback season tickets are $405, Corner Chairbacks are $365, Bench season tickets are $230 and Family Section season tickets are $150.
The complete season ticket packages includes tickets to all home games in 2019-20, which includes non-conference match-ups against Hockey East power Northeastern University and Ivy League rival Princeton University. The two-time defending NCHC champions, St. Cloud State will also play a full-slate of league games including home games against fan favorites North Dakota and Minnesota Duluth this season.
The full season ticket package includes tickets to first round NCHC playoff games at the HBNHC if the Huskies host those games.
The popular half season ticket packages will also be available in 2019-20. The Friday Night Half Season Ticket Package starts with Chairback tickets at $178, Corner Chairback tickets at $168, Bench tickets at $92 and Family Section tickets at $82.
The Saturday Night Half Season Ticket Package, which includes a ticket to the Huskies' exhibition game against the University of Alberta on Oct. 6, starts with Chairback tickets at $186, Corner Chairback tickets at $176, Bench tickets at $100 and Family Section tickets at $90.
Season tickets offer a substantial savings versus single-game ticket prices. Benefits for being a SCSU men's hockey season ticket holder include a 20 percent discount of SCSU merchandise from the HBNHC's Husky Hut, priority for post-season ticket sales (NCHC Frozen Faceoff and the NCAA tournament), invites to meet and greet events with coaches and student-athletes and the opportunity to purchase VIP parking add-ons to your season ticket package.
Of note, no seat license fees or donations are required to purchase season tickets for SCSU men's hockey in 2019-20.
St. Cloud State is coming off an impressive 2018-19 season, which saw the Huskies chart a 30-6-3 overall record and a first place record of 19-2-3 in the NCHC. The Huskies enjoyed a number one national ranking for much of the 2018-19 season and received a number seed in the NCAA Division I tournament for the second consecutive season in 2019.
The Huskies will be led by NCHC Coach of the Year Brett Larson, who begins his second season at SCSU in 2019-20. On the ice, team captain Jack Ahcan will be back for his senior season after gaining All-America honors on defense last winter. Team alternate captains for 2019-20 will include seniors Clark Kuster, Jack Poehling and Nick Poehling.
