Basketball teams release 2019-20 schedules

ST. CLOUD, MINN. – It may be the summer, but it's never too early to think about the basketball season! After highly successful seasons in 2018-19, the St. Cloud State University men's and women's basketball teams officially released their 2019-20 schedules early Monday morning.

The Huskies basketball teams will play a combined 15 games in Halenback Hall in 2019-20, including key matchups against their top rivals in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). The women's team will officially kick off the 2019-20 basketball season on November 9 when St. Cloud State hosts Valley City state at 5:30 p.m. in Halenbeck Hall. The men's team will open the season on the road before hosting Oak Hills Christian in the team's home opener on Tuesday, November 12.

As per usual, the Huskies will play 21 NSIC games during the 2019-20 season, 11 of which will be played in Halenbeck Hall. Both teams will open the conference season on the road, as they take on Minnesota-Duluth at 2 and 4 p.m. on November 30.

Season tickets for St. Cloud State men's and women's basketball will be available for purchase on July 8. Fans can either call the ticket office at 1-877-SCSUTIX or go online (www.scsutickets.com) to purchase season tickets. Single-game tickets for the basketball teams will go on sale October 1.
