
St. Cloud State Men’s Basketball Announces 2026-27 Schedule

Huskies to host 12 games at Halenbeck Hall
ST. CLOUD, Minn – The defending NSIC Conference Champions, St. Cloud State Men's Basketball has announced their 2026-27 schedule. The Huskies are set to play 28 games with 12 at Halenbeck Hall.
The schedule will consist of 22 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) games and 6 non-conference games. SCSU will open the season at the University of MN Crookston in a non-conference contest on November 9th.
The Huskies continue non-conference season in St. Joseph, MO playing a pair of games at the 2026 Hillyard Tip-Off Classic. They'll take on the tournament host, Missouri Western (November 13th) and Northwest MO (November 14th). They stay on the road and head over to Wisconsin Dells to take on Northern Michigan (November 20th) and Lake Superior State (November 21st).
Huskies kick off NSIC play at home at Halenbeck Hall against conference rival Minnesota State Mankato (November 24th) and Winona State (December 2nd). Huskies will then hit the road to take on Concordia-St. Paul (December 5th), Augustana (December 10th), and Wayne State (December 12th).
The Huskies will then return home to Halenbeck Hall on December 17th taking on Sioux Falls, then SMSU will come to town on December 19th, before finishing 2025 against non-conference opponent Ripon College on December 30th. The Huskies will open the new year with a quick trip to Mankato to take on the Mavericks (January 2nd) before heading back home to St. Cloud for a couple of conference match-ups against UMary (January 8th) and Minot State (January 9th). SCSU will travel on the road up North to take on the University of Minnesota-Duluth (January 15th) and Bemidji State (January 16th) before heading back to Halenbeck Hall to take on the University of MN-Crookston (January 22nd) and MSU-Moorhead (January 23rd).
Huskies will finish the month of January and enter the month of February with a 4-game road-trip taking on Northern State (January 29th), Jamestown (January 30th), SMSU (February 4th), and the University of Sioux Falls (February 6th). Huskies will return to Halenbeck Hall to host Wayne State (February 11th). Then they'll hit the road again taking on Augustana (February 13th) and Winona State (February 17th) for their final away games of the regular season. Huskies will conclude the regular season at home on February 20th hosting Concordia-St. Paul.
The NSIC Playoff days are set, with the first round taking place on February 24th with the higher seeds hosting the first round. Seeds 5-12 will play in the first round with seeds 1-4 receiving a bye to the Quarterfinals. The NSIC Tournament will take place from February 27th-March 2nd. The Huskies look to return to the NCAA Regional Tournament which takes place March 13th-16th and the NCAA Elite 8 is Scheduled for March 23rd-27th.
