St. Cloud State basketball teams rank among top NCAA DII attendance leaders

The St. Cloud State University men's and women's basketball teams ranked among the nation's top 20 NCAA Division II attendance leaders for the recently completed 2018-19 season. The SCSU women's basketball team ranked 11th in the nation with an average of 1,077 fans per game, while the SCSU men's basketball team ranked 20th in the nation for attendance with an average of 1,313 fans per game at Halenbeck Hall.

On the topic of NCAA attendance leaders, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference ranked second in the nation for both men's and women's basketball teams at the NCAA Division II level in 2018-19. The NSIC ranked second in men's basketball attendance at 1,050 per game and it ranked second in women's basketball attendance at an average of 797 per game. Of note, SCSU ranked third in the NSIC for average attenance in both men's and women's basketball attendance behind Northern State and Augustana.
