SCSU men's golfers place sixth at King's Walk tournament

The St. Cloud State University men's golf team continued its 2019-20 season with a sixth place finish at the 2019 King's Walk Invite, which was hosted by Minnesota Crookston at the King's Walk Golf Course in Grand Forks, N.D. on Sept. 14-15.
The Huskies posted a two-day team score of 600 (297-303), while Bemidji State won the team title with a tally of 574 (289-285) on the par 72, 7,110 yard layout at King's Walk. Concordia Moorhead (576), Manitoba-1 (586), Manitoba-2 (589) and Minot State (598) completed the top five standings. Augustana (602), Bemidji State-2 (609) and Minnesota Crookston (625) rounded out the top nine teams at the event.
Individually, SCSU was led by freshman Ryan Neff with a 13th place score of 147 (72-75).  Spencer Hinrichs placed 16th in the standings with a two-day total of 148 (75-73). Teammates Quinn Massey (71-83) and Hunter Moen (76-78) both placed 32nd with scores of 154, while Aiden Brovold placed 35th with a score of 155 (76-78). Carter Doose completed SCSU's card witha 38th place score of 157 (80-77).
SCSU will continue its 2019-20 season on Oct. 14-15 with a trip to the Blue Tiger Invitational in Jefferson City, Mo.
