St. Cloud State University athletics fans will be able to get the latest information on their favorite teams by downloading the new SCSU Huskies fan app, which is now available in Google Play or in the App Store.

The new app will offer new levels of engagement for fans to follow the Huskies anywhere on their mobile device. In addition, the app will offer exciting in-game offers and promotions for fans attending events live along with other exclusive content for app users.

"The new SCSU Huskies mobile app will provide another level of engagement for our fans," said Assistant Athletics Director of Marketing and Promotions Bruce Thompson. "The SCSU Huskies fan app is an exciting addition to our program and it will offer new opportunities for us to communicate with our fans, help them stay engaged with our teams and also elevate the quality of their experience at our events."

The SCSU Huskies fan app will allow users to personalize their experience, which means they will only receive notifications on scores, schedules, announcements and game promotions for the teams they have chosen to follow on the app.

"The new SCSU Huskies fan app offers our fans a customized on-line experience by allowing them to specifically chose the SCSU teams they have an interest in," said Assistant Athletics Director for Strategic Communications Tom Nelson. "For our fans that attend our events live, the fan app will help create a better game day experience and for those fans not able to attend live, it will allow them more ways to follow on their mobile devices from any location.

Features of the app include game day live stats, links for live video and audio (when available) along with a social media news feed for each sport. Rosters, schedules, coaches information, interactive maps, facility diagrams, special offers, SCSU gear and contests will also be available to fans through the new app.
SCSU partnered with From Now On (FNO) to develop and host the SCSU Huskies fan app. FNO is a growing app provider in the college sports marketplace, including multiple schools in the Northern Sun (NSIC).
