Huskies Falter to Augustana in NSIC Tournament

Huskies close 2021 campaign with mark of 7-8-3
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (7-8-3, 7-5-3 NSIC) fell in the quarterfinals of the NSIC Tournament, 2-1, to No. 2 seed Augustana (14-3-2, 13-1-2 NSIC) on Wednesday afternoon in Sioux Falls. The Huskies were able to score in the 82nd minute, but was unable to score an equalizer to even the score.
With the loss, the Huskies close their 2021 campaign.
TURNING POINT
The Vikings were able to find the back of the net twice in the first half, scoring in the seventh and 24th minutes of the game to take a 2-0 lead into the break at halftime.

- Junior forward Jenna Dominguez (Geneva, Ill.) and redshirt senior forward Nicole Friis (Appleton, Wis.) led the team with four shots in the game.
- Redshirt freshman Evie Kohn (West Lakeland, Minn.) made three saves in the game.
