Huskies Cross Country opens Homecoming week with WaxLax

Women’s 6K to start at 4:30 p.m. CT at Wapicada Golf Course
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Cross Country opens Homecoming week with the WaxLax Invitational on Wednesday, October 19th. The meet will take place on the back 9 at Wapicada Golf Course in Sauk Rapids, Minn. with the Women's 6k race set to begin at 4:30 p.m. CT, and the Men's 8k race to begin at 5:15 p.m. CT.
Official results for the meet will become available on SCSUHuskies.com shortly after the meet has concluded.
Huskies Cross Country is coming off a 10th place finish at the Lucian Rosa Invitational in Kenosha, where they competed against a bevy of regionally ranked teams. Senior Cheresa Bouley led the team with a 32nd overall finish among 130 runners. Sophomore Lauren Sertich (24:21.48) and freshman Laura Stevensen (26:03.45) each recorded personal best times at the meet.
