Sertich and Stevensen set new personal bests as SCSU takes 10th in Kenosha
KENOSHA, Wis. – St. Cloud State Cross Country took 10th at the Lucian Rosa Invitational on Saturday morning in a meet featuring a host of regionally-ranked competition. The 6K race held in Kenosha featured over 130 runners as Lauren Sertich and Laura Stevensen each ran personal-best times.
Cheresa Bouley finished 32nd overall with a 22:55.95 time, followed by Iris Guider in 53rd at 23:38.82. Greta Freed (67th, 24:01.38), Lauren Sertich (73rd, 24:21.48 – PR) and Clara Welhouse (76th, 24:29.47) rounded out the Huskies' top-five.
Cambrie Kowal (86th, 24:46.05) and Erica Conrad (91st, 24:59.14) helped SCSU place seven runners in the top-100. Laura Stevensen (26:03.45 – PR), Allie Butte (26:22.86), Marianna Guerra-Reese (27:46.44) and Jaileen Medina (28:04.23) accounted for the rest of the Huskies' effort.
