Huskies Cross Country takes seventh at NSIC Championships

SCSU earns seventh-straight top-10 finish at the conference meet
WAYNE, Neb. – St. Cloud State Cross Country took seventh at the 2022 NSIC Championships held in Wayne, Nebraska on Saturday afternoon. The Huskies improved three spots from their 2021 conference finish, placing four runners in the top 75 finishers.
SCSU has earned a top-10 finish at every single championship meet since they joined the Northern Sun.
Cheresa Bouley led SCSU by placing 25th with a 23:13.68 time, followed by Greta Freed (58th, 24:39.19) and Iris Guider (61st, 24:46.92) in the Huskies' top-three. Lauren Sertich (63rd, 24:48.95), Clara Welhouse (67th, 24:58.95), Cambrie Kowal (78th, 25:17.55) and Erica Conrad (82nd, 25:30.10) all placed among the top 100 finishers.
Allie Butte (101st, 26:14.74), Marianna Guerra-Reese (116th, 27:13.50), Jaileen Medina (120th, 27:41.41) and Laura Stevensen (122nd, 27:47.02) rounded out the St. Cloud State effort.
