Hendriks Named GLIAC Swimmer of the Week

Hendriks dominated for the Huskies at the South Dakota Invitational
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Swim & Dive junior Raf Hendriks (Berg en Terblijt, Netherlands) was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Swimmer of the Week, as announced on Nov. 7. It marks the second time this season Hendriks has earned the weekly GLIAC honor.
Hendriks dominated in the pool over the weekend for the Huskies at the South Dakota Invitational, earning four individual event wins and two relay wins. On Friday, Hendriks finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:41.05) and 100-yard backstroke (48.98) and lead off the 400-yard medley and helped lead the Huskies to a first-place finish with a time of 3:21.57. On Saturday, Hendriks won the 200-yard freestyle (1:41.53) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:48.98) and lead off the 200-yard medley relay that finished first with a time of 1:29.81.
