Three Huskies swim NCAA B-cut times on third day of competition

HOLLAND, Mich. – The St. Cloud State Men's Swim & Dive team earned one top-three finish and three NCAA B-cut times on the third day of competition at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Championships on Sunday in Holland, Mich. In the team standings, the Huskies sits in fourth place with 355.5 points.

Junior Lance Godard (Lee's Summit, Mo.) produced the lone podium finish of the day for the Huskies, finishing second in the 200-yard butterfly with an NCAA B-cut time of 1:46.08. Junior Piotr Kowalczyk (Warsaw, Poland) and sophomore Haydn Vein (Fargo, N.D.) also swam NCAA B-cut times, finishing fourth in the 100-yard backstroke at 48.05 and fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke at 54.57, respectively.
