The Huskies competed at the South Dakota Invite with the Men’s Team coming out on top.

Sioux Falls, SD. – St. Cloud State Swim & Dive had an impressive showing over the weekend, competing at the South Dakota Invite on Friday and Saturday. The men's team was able to pick up wins over multiple Division I teams including, South Dakota, South Dakota State, and St. Thomas. They also took down in-conference competitor Augustana. While the women's team picked up a win against Division I team St. Thomas and took down Sioux Falls. The women's team fell to South Dakota, South Dakota State, Northern Iowa, and Augustana.

TOP HUSKIES

Junior Raf Hendriks earned individual wins in four events over the weekend. On Friday, Hendriks finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:41.05) and 100-yard backstroke (48.98) On Saturday, Hendriks won the 200-yard freestyle (1:41.53) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:48.98).
Senior Jayden Porter picked up a win in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:07.66).
Grad Student Abe Townley earned three individual wins over the weekend. On Friday, Townley won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.24. On Saturday, Townley won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.11 and the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 46.30.
Freshman Izzy Koebele had multiple top three finishes to lead the Husky women. On Friday, Koebele finished third in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:46.17). On Saturday, Koebele finished third in the 1650-yard freestyle (18:07.61) and second in the 500-yard freestyle (5:15.85).

The Huskies will travel to St. Paul, Minn., to swim at the St. Thomas Invite on Friday, Nov. 11 and Saturday, Nov. 12.
