
St. Cloud State Men's Basketball Falls to Minot State

Four Huskies scored in double-digits
MINOT, ND - The St. Cloud State men's basketball team struggled to get any momentum rolling Saturday afternoon to fall 96-74 against Minot State. Four Huskies ended the afternoon scoring in the double-digits with Luke Taylor leading the scoring with 17 points.
GAME SUMMARY
The Huskies nabbed the first points of the game but after that it was all Minot State's game. St. Cloud struggled to find a solid footing as the Beavers continued to increase their lead. St. Cloud headed into the locker room down 44-29 at half. Six different Huskies added points to the board in the first half but none were able to break into the double-digit mark.
Returning to the court after the half, Minot State did not slow down as they lead by 21 with 10:51 left to play. Despite adding 45 total points in the second half, St. Cloud was unable to close the point margin against Minot State as they fell 96-74 at the end of the day. Kevin Cook lead the second half in scoring with ten points.
TOP HUSKIES
The Huskies will return home to Halenbeck Hall to close out the first half of the season before winter break. St. Cloud will host MSU Moorhead Friday, December 16 and Northern State Saturday, December 17.
