Nylund and Ahola lead Finland to Five Nations Tournament Championship

Hymlárová provides Czechia with five points, Zimmermann scores three goals for Switzerland
ÄNGELHOLM, Sweden – St. Cloud State Women's Hockey student-athletes enjoyed strong performances at the Five Nations Tournament in Ängelholm this past week highlighted by Sanni Ahola and Jenniina Nylund helping Finland to a tournament Championship as the lone nation to go 4-0.
Nylund scored two goals and provided three assists for five points, leading Suomi by skating to a team-best plus-five with 23 draws won at a 52.3% clip. Ahola was one of just three goalies at the tournament to go 2-0-0, stopping shots at a .909 clip while leading the entire tournament with a 1.00 goals against average. She closed out her debut tournament by blanking Germany with 13 saves, clinching Finland the championship.
Klára Hymlárová led Czechia in goals and points, skating to a team-best plus-three with three goals and two apples for five points. She scored once on the power play and put a total of eight shots on goal.
Laura Zimmermann scored three goals for Switzerland and put nine shots on, skating to a plus-one as the Swiss took second with a 3-1-0 tournament.
Svenja Voigt skated in all four games for Germany, putting a pair of shots on goal as the second-youngest skater for her club.
