Nord Named GLIAC Diver of the Week

Nord won the 1-Meter Dive, finished third in the 3-Meter Dive at Northern Michigan
ST. CLOUD, Minn. –St. Cloud State Swim & Dive freshman Jimmy Nord was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Diver of the Week, as announced on Oct. 9. It is the first time in his collegiate career for Nord to earn the weekly GLIAC honor.
Nord dominated the boards over the weekend for the St. Cloud State Swim and Dive against Northern Michigan and Davenport, winning 1-Meter Dive with a score of 461.25 and placing third in the 3-Meter dive with a score of 251.5. Nord was also able to earn the NCAA Qualifying Cut in 1-Meter.
