
St. Cloud State Swimming and Diving Take Multiple Wins at Coyote Extravaganza

The Huskies competed at the Coyote Extravaganza with the Men’s Team Coming out on top Both Days
ST. CLOUD, MINN. – St. Cloud State Swim & Dive had an impressive showing over the weekend, competing at the Coyote Extravaganza on Friday and Saturday. The men's team was able to pick up wins on Friday and Saturday, against both of their Division 1 competitors, South Dakota, and South Dakota State. They also took down in-conference competitor Augustana both day. The women's team fell to South Dakota, South Dakota State, Northern Iowa, Sioux Falls, and Augustana on Friday and Saturday.

· Senior Raf Hendriks placed first in all his events. Winning the 100-yard backstroke (49.49), 200-yard backstroke (1:48.91), and the 200-yard Freestyle on Friday with a time of 1:41.30 and Saturday going a 1:41.23.
· Freshman Jimmy Nord won Men's 3-Meter with a score of 277.65.
· Senior Didac Silva Alcoba got the win in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.36.
· The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Didac Silva Alcoba, Mason Beck, Reid Tigges, and Avery Morton won with a time of 1:23.23.
· Junior Meredith Bangs got second in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:41.01.
