
Three from SCSU Swim & Dive Earn CSC Academic All-District

Porter, Travis and Reschko honored for their work in the pool and in the classroom
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Three student athletes from St. Cloud State Swim and Dive – senior Jayden Porter (Bismarck, N.D.), graduate student Olivia Travis (Dassel, Minn.) and sophomore Anna Reschko (Frankfurt, Germany) – have been named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for their academic and athletic achievements.
To be eligible for the CSC Academic All-District Team, a student-athlete must be a starter or key contributor with at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA at his or her institution and must participate in at least 50 percent of their team's meets at the position listed. A qualifying student-athlete must have completed one full calendar year at his or her current institution and must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
Porter swam in five events at the 2023 GLIAC Championships. He scored in four – swimming on the conference champion 200 and 400 Medley Relay teams while taking third in the 100 Breaststroke and fifth in the 200 Breaststroke. Porter holds a 3.53 GPA in Entrepreneurship.
Travis has earned Academic All-NSIC honors three times in her collegiate career. She swam in six events at the 2023 NSIC Championships, scoring in all six with top-five finishes in the 100 Fly and 200 Medley Relay. Travis held a 4.0 GPA during her undergraduate career and has maintained the same mark in graduate school.
Reschko earned three All-NSIC honors at the 2023 NSIC Championships. Reschko swam in five scoring events and was crowned the conference champion in the 100 Fly while helping the 400 and 800 Freestyle Relays earn runner-up finishes. The Finance major currently holds a 3.97 GPA.
