
St. Cloud State Women’s Hockey announces full 2023-24 schedule

Huskies’ 34-game slate includes an appearance at the 2023 Women’s Ice Breaker in Connecticut and a series at Mercyhurst with Opening Weekend scheduled for Sep. 23-24 against Union
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Hockey has announced their full 2023-24 schedule, featuring 34 games including 16 contests at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. 17 of the Huskies' 34 regular season tilts feature an opponent that closed the 2022-23 season nationally ranked – with an additional six games against clubs that ended the year receiving votes.
The Huskies will open the season with a two-game home series beginning Saturday, September 23 against Union at the HBNHC – marking just the second and third-ever meetings between St. Cloud State and the Dutchwomen. SCSU then travels out east to Erie, Pennsylvania for a road nonconference series at Mercyhurst on October 6-7, battling the Lakers for the first time since a mid-December trip in 2019.
Conference play begins with an October 13-14 home series against Bemidji State followed by an October 17 midweek game at Minnesota. St. Cloud State heads east again on October 20-21 for the 2023 Women's Ice Breaker hosted by Sacred Heart in Fairfield, Connecticut, first meeting Northeastern in game one before playing the winner or loser of Sacred Heart and Lindenwood in the tournament finale.
The Huskies return to conference play and close October with a road series at Minnesota State on the 27th and 28th, then host Wisconsin on November 3-4. A home-and-home against St. Thomas on November 17-18 is flanked by a pair of off weekends as SCSU picks things back up with a trip to Ohio State on December 1-2. St. Cloud State greets Minnesota for a home midweek game on December 5, then ends the first half by hosting Minnesota Duluth on December 8-9.
St. Cloud State starts the second half at home with a January 12-13 series against Minnesota State followed by a home-and-home on January 19-20 versus St. Thomas. The Huskies host Ohio State on January 26-27, then open February at Wisconsin on the 2nd and 3rd. A home-and-home with Minnesota on February 9-10 kicks off a long road stretch to close the regular season that sees SCSU travel to Minnesota Duluth on February 16-17 and Bemidji State on February 23-24.
The WCHA Quarterfinals are scheduled for March 1-3 with the Final Faceoff set for March 8-9, followed by NCAA Tournament play beginning on March 15.
Game times are yet to be set and will be determined by the host institution.
