Gentry Tallies Two
ST. CLOUD, Minn. — The St. Cloud State Women's Hockey Team (15-9-1, 10-8-1 WCHA) lost by a score of 4-2 to Ohio State (21-2-0, 18-1-0 WCHA) on Friday.
DOMINATING BUCKEYES
Ohio State controlled the first period of play. The Buckeyes scored three goals in the opening twenty minutes of play. Ohio State dominated the shots category, only allowing St. Cloud State five shots on goal in the first period. Three Buckeyes were 50 percent or better in the faceoff circle. Ohio State held the Huskies to just three power play shots across 60 minutes.
EMMA GENTRY SHOW
Emma Gentry (Alpena, Mich.) led the team in almost every category. She scored the only two goals for the Huskies and had five shots in game one against the Buckeyes. Gentry blocked two shots and went 14-for-23 in the faceoff circle, coming in second on the team with a 60.9% on the dot.

The Huskies are back on home ice tomorrow taking on Ohio State in game two of the series. Puck drop is set for 1:07 p.m. CT. Game two between the Huskies and the Buckeyes will be a part of the annual Hockey Day Minnesota and will be aired on Bally Sports North Extra.
