St. Cloud State moves to 4-3 on the year
St. Cloud, Minn.- St. Cloud State Men's Basketball (4-3) picked up their fourth win of the season Saturday afternoon as they defeated Northland College 93-43. Kynan Philippe got the party started for the Huskies as he knocked down three three-pointers in the first three minutes and change of the game as St. Cloud State held an early 13-0 lead. The Huskies comfortably held that lead for the remainder of the half as they led 45-15 at halftime. The defense for St. Cloud State was key in building the lead as they held Northland to 25% from the field and 9% from beyond the arc. The second half was reminiscent of the first as St. Cloud State outscored the Lumberjacks 48-28. The Huskies would ultimately win 93-43 as they won back-to-back games for the first time this year to get over .500 on the season.
