Seven Husky Swimmers and Divers earn All-American honors at the NCAA Championships

Geneva, OH. – The St. Cloud State Swimming & Diving team had an impressive showing at the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships from March 12-16 in Geneva, OH. The Huskies had two athletes earn All-America Honors and two school records were broken over the course of the meet.

Two Huskies earned individual All-American honors. Senior Raf Hendriks finished fifth in the 200-backstroke, while also earning a new school record. Freshman Jimmy Nord finished eighth in 1-meter diving.

TEAM SCORES

To finish the meet, the Husky men finished in 19^th-place with 54 points.

TOP HUSKIES

Hendriks earned All-American status in the 200-yard backstroke, placing fifth with a time of 1:43.95. Hendriks also placed 11^th in the 100-yard backstroke, with a new school record time of 47.42.
Freshman Jimmy Nord earned All-American status in 1-meter diving, placing eight with a score of 443.95.
The 200-freestyle relay of Mason Beck, Hendriks, Cade Rosenwald, and Didac Silva Alcoba finished in 12^th, posting a time of 1:19.45
Junior Kailey Fossell finsihed 18th in 3-meter diving with a score of 364.25
