Primerano and Trapino score to lift Huskies to ninth consecutive victory over Bulldogs
DULUTH, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (4-1-0, 1-0-0 NSIC) found the back of the net twice to finish off a comeback and beat Minnesota Duluth (0-4-0, 0-1-0 NSIC), 2-1, to open conference play on Friday night in Duluth. The Huskies responded quickly after an early Bulldog goal, as junior Ellie Primerano (Saint Joseph, Mich.) and sophomore forward Linsey Trapino (Verona, Wis.) scored in the scored in the 41st and 67th minutes, respectively, to lift the Huskies to victory.

In the second half, the Huskies executed a free kick opportunity from near midfield to take the lead. Sophomore defender Grace Olson (West Des Moines, Iowa) launched a beauty of a pass into the box, where Trapino let the ball bounce once before heading it over the Bulldog goalkeeper and into the back of the net for the go-ahead and game-winning score.
